Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactAt first sight this photograph impressed me.
The subject is very well drawn attention to by using a very shallow depth of field. The surrounding bokeh is magnificent. The branch passes through the picture following the rule of thirds and leading the eye to the focus – the bud. All in all a superb composition. Furthermore the monochromatic tone and the vignetting blend in well with the whole image.
A suggestion for improvement on my part would be slightly more sharpness of the bud.
Nonetheless this shot is one of a kind. I rarely see such well-conceived photographs. Very nicely done!
